Charity Event

April 11, 2016

How cool is this...being able to help with a charity event with my cakes?! This month I was asked to participate in a charity event by creating deserts that will be auctioned off for charity. I am extremely excited to be helping out with this event that helps raise money for Truly Motivated Transitional Living! They are a network of clean and sober living homes in Yelm, Washington(my current home town) and are a non-profit organization offering affordable fee-based clean and sober housing to men and women in various stages of recovery. My goal for this event is to prepare 2 cakes based on the dinner/charities themed "paris" event.

A 2 tier silhouette cake with kissing couple over an Eiffel Tower w/colored floating hearts. Done in chocolate cake with butterfudge cream, white chocolate Ganach and raspberry filling.

A queen beehive cake w/gold crown, edible hand painted antique plack of bee and flowers. French vanilla cake with honey buttercream filling.

**sketches are the photos of how i'm hoping they will turn out**
